Mosaic Forestry Contractors Honoured for Safety, Environment and Workplace Achievements

Mosaic Forest Management is recognizing forestry contractors and employees throughout Vancouver Island for taking proactive steps to reduce their safety risks and achieve excellence in environmental and workplace performance. The awards were presented last week in Nanaimo during a special Safety Committee Meeting opened by Snuneymuxw First Nation elder, Lolly Good.

In 2022, Mosaic achieved a medical incident rate of 1.36 on a total of 2.5 million hours worked for the year, representing a 15% reduction over 2021.
